Staffed with trained teachers and librarians, the Biblioteca is the city centre based hub for all Livro Aberto activities. With a wealth of resources and multi-media technologies the biblioteca is designed to create an empowering environment for children, to not only access books but be supported in reading and understanding them.

The centre offers Library Memberships, for children to access books in the centre environment and then enjoy them at home.

A programe of after-school Literacy Workshops is also available at the centre, including sessions tailored for children experiencing difficulty in reading and writing.
